Job Description

The Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for operating and owning the end-to-end availability and performance of large-scale production environments. This role requires an excellent understanding of cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, along with deep expertise in containerization and microservices architecture.

Key responsibilities include managing Kubernetes ecosystems, dissecting complex problems, implementing auto-remediation and alert correlation frameworks, and overseeing SLO/SLI, error budgeting, and KPIs for critical services. The engineer will lead production activities including change management, post-mortem reviews, and software automation delivery. The role demands strong problem-solving skills, experience with logging and metrics platforms at scale, and a continuous drive for optimization and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years of experience in managing large scale production environments
• Expertise in public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
• Programming skills in Python and/or Go
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions
• Strong understanding of infrastructure as code, preferably Terraform
• Ability to lead production processes, change management, and post-mortem reviews
• Knowledge of auto-remediation frameworks and alert correlation
• Familiarity with SLO/SLIs, error budgeting, and performance metrics
• Experience working with logging and metrics platforms at scale
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive operational efficiency
